We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“I bought the cot sized blanket as a gift for my new born niece who lives in Scotland. The whole process was so easy for me from ordering to free postage. It got there in under a week which is super fast and my sister was so happy with the product. She loves the look and said it felt so soft and cosy for baby Elsie!”

“We ordered three personalised blankets for our three newest grandchildren, it was the perfect gift! So personal but also wonderfully functional. “I ordered the Signature Letter for my pregnant friend which she loved! The process was easy and the options for colours were fantastic. We opt for the burnt orange colour which was similar to Hermes blanket and I thought it was such a cool touch. The customer service at Thread The Word is impecible! Thanks guys :)”
