We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“This quickly became our favourite blanket for our new baby. It is so stylish but also practical and well made. It’s had vomit, wee and poo on it, been washed many times and still looks new. Love it! I have the cot size and just fold it up for the bassinet at the moment.”

“The Signature Letter blanket was actually a gift to my sister and brother in-law for their firstborn. They absolutely loved it! The colours, design and especially the material is amazing! The packaging was very nice along with the handwritten card, very meaningful and I’m glad I purchased it for my niece. I definitely recommend buying from Thread The Word to others!
