We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“We purchased this blanket for our little guy to keep over his NICU cot. Whilst we can't wrap him in it just yet, or put it over his bed at home, it's a beautiful keepsake that will be able to journey with him for many years to come. Beautiful brand, beautiful quality. “I received a cot sized blanket and was very happy with the speed of delivery and the communication from Thread the Word. I was also very happy with the colours, the design and the feel of the blanket. It was very soft and thick. There was a small issue with a couple of rows of the knitting not being finished properly and I was concerned that the knitting would unravel. I emailed the team and showed a pic of the issue. They responded very quickly and said that they would send another blanket straight away. The speed of delivery for the replacement blanket was quicker than the first and the new blanket was perfect. I would highly recommend purchasing from Thread the Word as their product and their customer service is perfect.”
