“I'm super happy with my new sit stand desk from UpDown desk. The desktop is attractive and clearly well made. I wish I had purchased it sooner.
Two little points (neither of which detract from the 5 star rating). The "wings" have 3 pre-drilled holes. The 2 holes at the centre are clearly for attachment to the desk and the leg; this is indicated in the assembly instructions. I've never been able to work out what the 3rd hole is for, and the instructions don't mention it of if it's important for it to be at the front or towards the rear of the assembled desk.
The second point is around option for desk sizes. There are three options for desk width, and I choose the 1800mm model. All desks are 750mm deep. If there had been an option for a slightly deeper desk, say 800mm or 850mm, I probably would have selected that as I have a large mointor with a stand that is almost 30cm deep....I will investigate a monitor arm so I can reclaim some desk space.”
“The desk was delivered quickly. The online instructions were clear and relatively easy to follow (and the supporting instructions were also good.) The desk was carefully wrapped and packaged and the quality is great.
The wood is beautiful (acacia pro) and the frame is strong (heavy) and well made. The desk rises quiet high without a wobble. (In hindsight, the roller caster wheels may be worth getting, if only to move things out of the way every now and then.)
The premium deskmat is nice and the Metal drawer is solid.
Well done to an Aussie company. (Also thankyou for the handwritten note on the packaging - a nice touch.) Highly recommended.”
