“My wife and I now both have UpDown Desks after she got hers and I got jealous.
When you put the desk together every part of it yells solid quality. The thinnest metal I found in the kit is 2.5mm, and some parts are up to 5mm thick. This makes for a very reassuring 'foundation' weight when the desk is elevated. I am 1.92m tall and have my desk at 112cm while standing, and even then it barely moves.
I also love the size flexibility and ease of setting it up. I am currently using my old and small-ish (120x60cm) cardboard-core IKEA desktop (not ideal - screws don't really hold in cardboard!), but will soon make a larger solid wood one. The UpDown has no problem accommodating either size, and swapping them over is just a matter of a few screws. I could change my desktop whenever I feel like a new one.
I've not had the desk long enough to comment on the standing + sitting workday, but the memory function and fast movement speed sure makes it easy to change.
Not much to criticise. The only thing to note is that being solid means being heavy, and potentially difficult to move around during assembly if you struggle with that kind of thing. However, it's easily within the abilities of two people working together, and it's only something you need to do once.

“Bought a updown frame back in early 2018. Still holding up well and never skipped a beat! Installation was relatively straightforward even for a non-handy person like myself. Never had to reach out for support so far. Very sturdily built and feels like it was overengineered (in a very good way). Not the cheapest option but I did get a premium product (to my untrained eye anyway!) I would definitely purchase again!”

“I love my UpDown Desk.
When my office switched to working from home, I wanted to ensure I had a decent set up at home. My office has a few UpDown desks, and so I decided to stick with the same brand.
Over the time I've had it, I've found myself using it more and more, not only to stand while I work, but to adjust the desk through the day as I feel the need.
Putting it together was a 2 person operation, but not too complicated, I also went with a 3rd party desk top - which still fit perfectly after drilling some new holes.
Understandably the price tag may be a deterrent, however the customer service is excellent and I've found the prices comparable to other brands on the market.
