“It had great reviews online so I decided to take the leap and so far so good! Pretty simple to put together, even on my own. The online video helped with the written instructions. Fairly quiet, very stable, even being on carpet, so hard flooring it would be solid.
I opted for the pre made holes in the desk and glad I did, very neat and tidy!”
“The build quality of the desk is way above my expectations - I didn’t expect everything’s so solid. All the pieces are quite heavy so it’s good to have another person to help put them together. I do wish there could be pre-drilled holes on the table top (or an option to opt in for a pre-drilled table top) so it’d be easier for the customers to assemble it. The customer service staff are very friendly too. Overall, I’m glad I went with UpDown desk!”
“I've been thinking about a standing desk for a few years now.
I ended up buying a traditional desk from OfficeWorks which was ok, but left me wondering how good can a standing desk be?
My main concern was desk wobble and stability.

I've used the desk for just under 1 week and it feels really solid with no sign of wobble.
It's built like a tank.
The setup process was straightforward, thanks to the youtube videos taking you through each step.
Yes, it was a little more expensive than other brands, but you get what you pay for here I think.
An Australian brand with customer support / long warranty is worth the extra few hundred.

As my wife put it, she was very sceptical when I told her I would convert my existing desk but she says it looks really good.
