Great products. UrineFree is the only product that seems to really work on our synthetic grass which our large dog uses as their toilet! You need to apply quite a lot, but it really works and the smell is fresh and pleasant. BackyardFresh isn’t as great and obviously doesn’t address the underlying problem, but it’s good as a shorter term, cheaper solution between cleans using UrineFree.

not fully satisfied with the products perhaps I may not have been applying it properly. I can see smell the urine in hot weather. Have had to add disinfectant over the areas to eliminate the odours. I welcome your feedback and instructions. Despite the minor set back I will continue to purchase

Hi Peggy. Thanks for getting in contact with us and I apologise for the delay. I'm sorry to hear that you aren't happy with how UrineFREE has worked for you and we do offer a 100% money back guarantee but is it ok if I ask you a few questions? 1. Was any other products used prior to urineFREE? 2. What is the underlay underneath the synthetic turf? 3. How long has your dogs been using the grass for? 4. How big are your dogs? 5. Does your turf have any infill? We recommend saturating the synthetic grass with urineFREE and then placing a tarp over the top to keep urineFREE wetter for longer. urineFREE needs dwell time to be able to break down the uric crystals that are responsible for the odour. As soon as urineFREE dries, it deactivates.  UrineFREE is water based so we recommend treating the grass late in the afternoon or at night to help prevent evaporation and you can leave the tarp on for up to 24hrs. If it's a larger area that you are treating, sometimes it is best to treat sections at a time rather than treating the whole area at once. Once the tarp has been removed, just hose any left over residue away as it can leave a sticky substance once the urineFREE has broken down the crystals. Then leave to air dry. Once dry, if you can still smell urine, then you may need to re treat again especially if there has been a big build up of urine or if the substrate is rock or sand. How often you will need to treat will depend on the size of the dog and how many there are. As you can imagine the urine output can vary significantly.  When you find the smell starting to reappear again after your dog has been using it a while, a lot of our customers like to use BackyardFRESH. BackyardFRESH is a long lasting deodoriser that customers use in between urineFREE treatments. It is more cost effective and will enable you to stretch out the time needed for urineFREE treatments.  The other product i would recommend is the battery sprayer. When you have a large area to treat, the battery sprayer saves your wrists and ensures the product comes out in a nice even distribution. We hope this helps. Thanks Rachel

This product is amazing. Especially in summer we have two dogs and you would never know they were in the yard.

I have used Urine Free & Back yard fresh for some years now. I find them both great products, for the garden and garden furniture. I would recommend these products to everyone .

We have used UrineFree indoors for some years with our pets, but only thought to try it on the artificial turf we have laid in our (smallish) inner city courtyard when our new pup arrived. We had the turf down for about 3 months before we tried UrineFree on it. We were struggling with the smell when the summer months arrived and the sun hit the turf and turned the unseen urine deposits into an odour that was lethal. It took about 4-5 twice-weekly applications of UrineFree and Backyard Fresh to get things under control, but from there things are perfect. In summer, we now do a fortnightly freshen-up and all is well. So our advice is to use this promptly, and don't leave it too late like we did!
