Hi Lewis,
We are disappointed to hear that you are having trouble with urineFREE.
We always encourage our customers to get in touch via our email sales@urinefree.com.au or phone number (03) 9318 0996 so we can help you solve your problem before it's rated as we know our products work and if they aren't, there would be a reason.
We have noticed that you have ordered urineFREE a few times over the years, is there anything that has changed in the way you applied the product?
Also, please note that the stain in your carpet can be caused the urine itself: in some instances, the acid in the urine and some carpet fibres can form tannin while the urine is drying and this can result in a carpet stain. Often stains may become larger, darker and the odour stronger when they rise to the surface – this is common. This is the urine in the sublayers rising to the surface for further treatment and removal. These stains can take two to three treatments with urineFREE and you will see the stains become lighter and smaller upon further treatments until they eventually disappear.
We stick by our guarantee to work as directed or your money back. However when customers tell us it hasn't work we always ask a few questions:
1. What type of carpet are you treating?
2. How much product have you used?
3. How large is the effected area?
4. How long has the urine been in the carpet for?
5. Did you use previous products before applying urineFREE. If yes, what?
6. After urineFREE had dried did you remove the residue completely?
Again we'll be happy to help because we and so many customers know our products work when used as directed. We hope to hear from you.
Kind regards,
Dan Lassen
“I was having so much trouble getting rid of my dog pee and it odour especially on the carpets. Not until I got hold of UrineFREE it made it so much easier to clean and remove my dog’s pee on almost all sort of surfaces including the carpet. I highly recommend this product to anyone. A+ A+ A+”
“I bought this product to clean up after my poorly cat. He had inappropriate urination on my sons carpet. Unfortunately to no avail, like most other products. I found this has not worked and we still have that horrible cat smell. The light that come with the product proved quite useless also. Highlighted everything neon but not so much urine ... im glad i tried the product, but for the price i feel massively disappointed. .”
Hi Janet,

The number 1 reason urineFREE may not work is that previous products have been used before. Products containing chemicals and detergents will NOT remove urine. They remove the non-soluble components of urine, but leave behind the uric acid crystals that lodge into the fibres of the carpet, wood etc. If chemicals or detergents have been used before than these products coat the uric acid crystals (like a wax sealer to a floor) making it very difficult for any product including biological products such as urineFREE to penetrate, even water won't remove it. These uric acid crystals will therefore remain, leaving the stain and the odour for good. As per our instructions we recommend removing as much of previous as possible using a wet cloth and sponging out, rinsing the cloth in running water to wash away the previous products. Once you are sure that the previous products have been removed then you can apply urineFREE.
The second reason is if you are applying urineFREE to porous surfaces then you may need more product to complete the job. Carpets, rugs, soft furnishings, concrete, pavers and unglazed surfaces are particularly porous and for urineFREE to 100% effective it needs to go where all the urine has gone. For carpets if you can't pull back the carpet then you need to bleed the urine to the surface from the underlay and subfloor. The urine will slowly rise to the surface to allow you to wipe away the sticky by-product. This take time and enough product.
Again we are always happy to help because we and so many customers know our products work when used as directed.
We hope to hear from you.
Kind regards,
Dan from urineFREE
“I have a house where previous owners had cats and pissed throughout the house.
This is the only product that worked in removing the smell of cat pee.
I tried a number of other products that worked short term but soon the smell returned.
Urine Free has worked great and smell has not returned.
It does not remove stains as well, and if they could make a product that could be used first to remove stains then this product to keep the smell at bay that would be great.
It is expensive but worth it.
I had spent a lot of money on other products first and if I had used this straight up I would of been a lot better off.
Over all highly recommended this product”
“We’ve tried a number of products and this one is definitely the best! It leaves a pleasant fresh scent. The light is worth getting to find the issue and also great for making sure it’s gone. Have used on carpet curtains and couches.
Fast dispatch and delivery!
Thank you.”
