“Honestly amazing.. I was hesitant at first because of the price. But 100% worth the money, I currently have 6 cats (2 big cats 4 kittens) and it has worked absolute wonders on our carpet and we no longer have the cat smell in our carpets. Would 100% recommend to anyone with cats who have had accidents om the carpets”
“Man the sprayer and light makes life much easier! I had old, unknown stains in a room that wasn’t used and it was painful trying to find the smelly spots before I found this gem! So worth the investment.”
“We are renovating an old home which had been a previous home to decades of possums. The internal timbers were revolting and the stench of possum urine hit as soon as you opened the front door. We tried several supermarket products which seemed to work day 1 but wore off quickly. After a google search I came across urineFree and thought the way it works made sense and was safe to use.
Having the battery operated sprayer made it much easier to get to the difficult spots in the roof space and the urineFree had a mild fragrance.
After trying other products without success it was such a relief to at last find a solution and not have to replace timbers . The possum smell is totally gone and we feel good investing in the renovation instead of all the hard work and money leaving us with a new home with an awful smell.
O. Full marks to a great Aussie product ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
Hi Jacqueline.
We are sorry to hear you had a negative experience with our product.
We know our products and we completely back them with a money back guarantee to work as directed or your money back. However when customers tell us it hasn't work we always ask a few questions...
1. How big is the area of carpet you are treating?
2. Do you know how old the stains are?
3. Did you spray or pour the urineFREE onto the carpet? Was is saturated? How much product did you use and how many times did you treat?
4. Did you use previous products before applying urineFREE. If yes, what?
5. After urineFREE had dried, did you remove the residue completely with clean water and a clean cloth?
6. How long did you leave the urineFREE on the carpet to break down the stain and the uric crystals?
7. What sort of urine is it? Cat, dog, human.
The number 1 reason urineFREE may not work is that previous products have been used before. Products containing chemicals and detergents will NOT remove urine. They remove the non-soluble components of urine, but leave behind the uric acid crystals that lodge into the fibres of the carpet. If chemicals or detergents have been used before then these products coat the uric acid crystals (like a wax sealer to a floor) making it very difficult for any product including biological products such as urineFREE to penetrate, even water won't remove it. These uric acid crystals will therefore remain, leaving the stain and the odour for good. As per our instructions we recommend removing as much of previous products as possible using a wet cloth to sponging out, rinsing the cloth in running water to wash away the previous products. Once you are sure that the previous products have been removed then you can apply urineFREE.
I recommend covering the stain with glad wrap after you have saturated the area and leaving for up to 24hrs so urineFREE has dwell time to continue to break the crystals down aswell as the stain. As long as urineFREE is wet, it will continue to work to break down the crystals. As soon as urineFREE dries, it deactivates. Multiple treatments may be necessary to lift the stain completely from the carpet. You do need to clean the area with water and a clean cloth after each urineFREE treatment to prevent build up. After cleaning, the carpet needs to be left to air dry. If you can still smell urine once it's dry, you will need to treat again. Pouring urineFREE onto the stain often works well as there are many layers for urineFREE to penetrate with carpet and urineFREE needs to come into contact with all the uric crystals to break them down and destroy them.
Again we'll be happy to help because we and so many customers know our products work when used as directed. We hope to hear from you.
Thanks
Rachel
