“I've used only once in my fake grass and although it didn't remove the urine smell completely, it definitely made sitting in the backyard way more tolerable. The product itself smells great and not overpowering. I would buy it again!”
Hi Liz,
If the urine smell isn't completely gone, it's most likely because urineFREE wasn't able to get in touch with all of the urine and/or there is new urine in the area.
Here are some tips that may help:
If you can, pull back the synthetic grass in various corners and treat the crush rock or sand base and underneath the synthetic grass mat directly.
Do not treat the lawn on hot days as it will cause urineFREE to dry too quickly reducing its effectiveness. The evening when the sun is down is best.
Do not treat the lawn during rain as it will dilute urineFREE and reduce its effectiveness.
You can use a plastic sheet to cover the synthetic lawn during treatments to keep urineFREE moist and working for as long as possible (1 hour to overnight).
We hope this helps!
Thanks,
Dan Lassen
“UrineFree is an excellent product when used correctly. I frequently recommend the product to clients who have issues with inappropriate elimination (peeing and pooping in he the wrong place) along with other applicable behaviour strategies.”
