“Overall, we have had great experience and memories. Sleeping in the swag under the stars was fantastic experience and the red desert scenery is worth it.
On the plus side:
Tour well structured, we have seen what we wanted (the main touristic spots), had access to swiming pool at camps which was a good surprise, and with the very hot weather, the guide was taking care and watching that we were OK
On the minus side :
In general, the gear was outdated (swag not all functional) , older bus with the A/C not working, it was very very umcomfortable to drive 5 hours with no A/C when it is more than 40C outside.
Would have liked more hiking and less driving (that may mean 1 extra day would be to be considered).
Guide was dynamic but did not give as much information on the desert and culture.
Would have wanted more time at the cultural center in Uluru (did not see all)
On the logistics, food was ok but lacking in the 2nd day (e.g milk was forgotten from prior camp...),
I am giving 4 stars because the experience was so unusual but some disappointment on the company.”
