“The guide was very unpleasant always talking about the fact we would have a long long road from Darwin to Alice springs. She seemed to be fed up before starting. What’s more, You should advice people for not renting a sleeping bag for 50dollars and not useful at all. And thankfully groovy grap didn’t make me pay again for it in a region until Adelaide where I really needed it.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you found your guide unpleasant, this is certainly not feedback that we are accustomed to with our guides usually being recognised for their friendly and helpful nature.
As there is quite a lot of driving on the Darwin to Alice Springs leg of this tour, perhaps the guide was attempting to ensure passengers were not disappointed by this however it appears that the approach may not have been the best and I will share your feedback with our team for consideration.
Thank you also for your comments regarding sleeping bags; We do offer sleeping bag hire year round as per passenger demand. Understandably some passengers may feel more comfortable without a sleeping bag however this is personal preference and is the reason hire is offered as an optional extra.
