These are the best quality bibs I've seen. 20*F and I was too warm. they do have adjustable venting so you can be just right for your metabolism. Only thing is they are snug on the mid and chest area.

Fits amazing with a little room to spare. 15 degree F and I was almost too warm. I love the ventilation, long knee pads and all the pockets. 100% recommend over striker ice for half the price and same quality. The float technology makes the bibs a bit bulky but I'll take the safety over that any day. it was sprinkling rain as well and kept me dry and couldn't even tell the wind was there. Chest/ribs area is a little tight but I think XXL would be too big and bulky for my size. Glad I didn't go for the Large. AWESOME BUY!!! Very Satisfied.

I'm a Ca transplant to Mi and new to ice fishing, this is my third winter. Over the past to seasons I have looked at other manufacturer float suits but always balked at the price and kept layering up with multiple pieces of clothing. Going through the ie and getting all that wet would be a problem. With questionable ice this season I decided to spend the money and get some appropriate gear. The price point for the Boreas suit was hard to pass up so I took a chance and placed an order. I placed my order directly through Windrider and with the free shipping the suit was at my door in a couple of days. I've had three fishing trips out on the ice so far with the Boreas My last trip on the ice was with single digit temperatures and a stiff wind out of the north. With just smartwool thermals underneath pants and a t-shirt I stayed warm and dry. In less severe weather on the ice I have opened zippers to regulate temperature, which has worked well. I've stayed dry kneeling in wet snow around freshly augured holes. The material used seems heavy enough to last. All of the seams look good with straight stitching and no loose thread ends. Cuffs at the wrists and ankles should help with water intrusion should the need arise. Flaps over zippers should help as well. I'm 6-3 215 lbs and the xxl suit fits just about perfect. The only issues I've come across is the height of the bib pockets that allow access to my front pants pockets underneath. They are the same height of my pants pockets and make pulling out keys or a cell phone a bit of a challenge. I have to remove the jacket to fish a wallet out of my back pocket. Both are easy fixes as the jacket has secure pockets for those items. I have zero regrets with this purchase and would buy again if needed.

This suit has scored 100% on all my expectations. I river fish all winter in the river and it’s cold. I can fish from morning to night with getting cold. Suit is also very comfortable.

It was really tight around the chest area but proved to be the warmest ice fishing apparel I have ever owned and also enjoyed the frontal pockets as well over all it gets a thumbs up

How to never have to use the float technology that is in the suit however the suit is very warm and easy to move around in it does run a Ted smalle so if you wear A3XL then go for the 4XL or fear and XL go for the double XL

All I can say is I'm impressed with the BOREAS suit I recently purchased and have had the opportunity to test out twice thus far. My first time out I sat in the elements for 4 hours with a brisk NW wind taking the temps with wind chill to around 10 degrees. The only reason I ended up setting up my shanty was because of line freeze but never at any instance got chilly or cold. It was extremely comfortable and I was able to kneel comfortably at my holes due to the amount of padding in the knees which also ended up being very water resistant. The bibs adjusted perfectly to the length I needed them and easily fit over my boots. The zippers worked perfectly and were easy to get at even with gloves on and the pockets were plentiful to keep my extra gloves, bait, and other things in while hopping from hole to hole. I experienced much of the same the next day on my second outing with the suit and again was able to sit outside in the beautiful sunlight with temps only in the mid 20's and was nice and cozy the entire time until I left at dark. I would highly recommend this suit to anyone in the market as the price, quality, and warranty are second to none. I can speak to knowing a few others who share the same sentiments as me with their recent purchase of the suit. Good luck and have a great and safe ice season.
