“I went kayaking in the SF Bay yesterday in intermittent light rain. I was dry and comfortable. My only complaint is the left upper arm pocket, which I used to keep my phone dry would not zip closed in the damp conditions. My phone was moist in the unzipped pocket, but still functioned OK. Is there a zipper lubricant I can apply ? Otherwise, 5 stars”
“I use this jacket for sailing. Love the fit, keeps you warm and dry. However, only after a year and a half did it start to get some wear on the inner lining. I had to get a replacement, but the customer service was fantastic. There's one pocket that has a zipper which is nice. The pocket isn't that large though. It's a great jacket for the price.
One other positive is the neck has a zipper fly so the zipper doesn't irritate your skin!”
“I wore this jacket first time today. It's just what I needed. I'm an older whitewater kayaker who's paddling a lot of flat water these days. I needed something to keep the wind and spray off me, now that it's getting cool, not something watertight. The jacket worked great. It fits well. It's is easy to get on and off. Fits well and isn't constricting. I tightened the cuffs up nice and snug, there was minimal leakage but I'm don't plan on having to roll. I like the color, nice and bright. The only problem is that the clasp on the shock cord at the waist broke the second time I tightened it up. It is a fairly important part. It still works but won't for long. Great jacket except for that.”
