“I love sleeping on my new lux mattress. Very comfy and not too firm. My only issue was that the corners didn’t lay flat as in the pictures, though doesn’t appear to affect function, just the appearance. Just a tip for placement the zip pull tag, goes to bottom of the bed, I looked at pictures and saw the winks tag at the bottom left, but that goes to top right of bed, if you are standing at the bottom of your bed.”

“I knew I needed a new bed - I'd been sleeping on a king single for ages, and decided to treat myself to an upgrade. I thought the Lux would be comfortable, but I really wasn't prepared for just how much better it is. It's so, so soft, and yet supportive enough that you don't completely sink into it. Plus fast shipping, great customer service, and they even adopt a kiwi for you! I would definitely recommend them to anyone.”

“It took a while to save for this magnificent mattress; I discovered it was NZ made and then found out if you didn’t want it, Winkl would refund and then give the mattress to Sallies. That is so kind and wonderful. However, I’m not giving mine up. It is so very comfortable and I sleep so well. Definitely recommend this mattress (and have done so to the point I get people telling me to shut up about it hahahaha.”

“We returned "another brand" of box mattress as it felt horrible - weird feeling, too hard, etc - and replaced it with a winkl. Worlds apart; firmness is just right (for us), totally comfortable, no horrible spring noise/feeling, supporting a NZ company (not to mention donation towards Kiwi conservation), and at a great price. Would do it again in a heart beat.”

“We have had this mattress for a month or so and initially it was a bit uncomfortable, after a week or so it became more comfortable. We are sleeping pretty well now but one downside I notice is you can't sleep too close to the edge, meaning unlike a spring mattress that retains its shape, it will compress and you can be sleeping on a slight slope which isn't good for your back or posture. We will give it another month to see if we will continue with it or seek a refund. Nice to have the refund option.”
