“After having 2 mattresses from a reputable bed company fail us I thought to look elsewhere. I found Winkl on google and thought hey, a NZ company lets have a look. After some discussion with my husband we decided to purchase the Lux Queen mattress only. It arrived within a couple of days of ordering, compressed into a small package. Hmmm. We hauled it inside and unwrapped it, followed the directions and waited. 24 hours later. It was much firmer than we expected and at first we thought we'd made a mistake. However, we had the best sleep we've had in years and continue to do so. Immediately eliminated back pains we were both getting. I'm considerably heavier than my husband however when I move around he is not disturbed at all. We highly recommend the Lux Queen and will look into purchasing the base too.”

“Love the mattress, we brought ours during the first lockdown in 2020, and have slept soundly on it ever since. It really is an amazing mattress. The pillows are great also. Would highly recommend The Lux.”

“Great marketing idea - no uncomfortable mock testing instore (nudge nudge, wink wink) with your shoes on a bedspread protector and people passing by.. Try it at home. If you don’t like it send it back. We ARE NOT sending it back!! Best nights sleep since we first slept in a memory foam mattress in New York’s YOTEL in 2016. Our oldest son has already bought a Winkl on our recommendation. Buy one. You won’t be disappointed.”

“We brought one. I was a bit worried as my husband and I are so fussy and like a soft mattress. But they give a money-back guarantee so we thought they must be pretty confident. Brought one day and arrived the next! We both love it. It’s soft without being really sinky soft. It’s the perfect amount of softness and is really comfortable. No sore spots when you wake up. I joke that my husband is like the princess in the children’s book, The Princess and the Pea.’ The story goes that a true princess can feel a pea even under a hundred mattresses. His princess days are over, lol. ❤️Highly recommend it.”

“My daughter was so desperate for a decent mattress that I bought the Lux for her after seeing very expensive ones, even discounted by 50% which were way over her budget. Then decided her old mattress needed replacing at home so she could have the benefit of it when she visited (and thereby ensuring she would visit more often), Secretly though, it was really to test the Winkl mattress out myself and to persuade my other half to buy one for our bed. I've been enjoying been enveloped in comfort and support. The best is she has the surprise of a new mattress that she is not expecting at home and I look forward to hearing about her experience of the two mattresses.”
