“I really like my new Lux mattress – the first time I lay down on it, it felt so soft like a cloud. But after a few weeks I also find it very supportive. My old mattress was too firm and I always woke up uncomfortable, really noticing the mattress... with the Winkl Lux, I just wake up feeling comfy. And plenty of cold spots too!”

“Mattress is very comfortable, big improvement on springs which don't have as much give at hips and shoulders, noticeable as we're old. Delivery great too. The only unknown is how long they last. The guarantee detail covers only visible indentation of 25mm - previously, I bought a cheap foam mattress for guests and found it looked fine, but over time the centre cushioning was lost, it was hopeless. There's clearly many types of foam, you get what you pay for, but Winkl mattresses have multiple layers too, sofer and firmer - we won't know how long these mattresses last until they put some evidence of testing on their website.”

“Impressed by the design of these vacuum packed foam mattresses. You can’t help having a lol moment when you first see it and set up but are left quite amazed after a day or 2 when it fully inflates to its original form. It’s rather thick and heavier than a typical mattress. My wife said it’s hard to move when making the bed and it’s a tight fit for regular queen linen. I quite like it after a couple of months but my wife isn’t really convinced. She wants softer. Like they say though. The one firmness of this mattress is probably to suit a majority of New Zealanders and some do prefer a softer type mattress. Overall it has left me impressed tho.”
