“Recovery points themselves are strong and not badly priced. However the installation hardware is poorly designed. The nut plate which is inserted into the chassis rail should be wider so it cannot free spin inside the chassis rail. I've had issues with these spinning during installation on two separate cars well under the required torque value leading to a lot of wasted time mucking about trying to jam something against the nut plate.
Do yourself a favour and weld on an extra 20mm plate before install them.
Alternatively, road safe could change the nutplates supplied with the kit to actually work properly.”
