“This is such a beautiful dress. The fabric is soft and summery and the design is so comfortable. I love the gentle tiers and the pockets are great. Also it is not too long on my 5’4” frame. Can be dressed up or down - I’m wearing it for a christening and feel it is perfect for that special summer occasion. Some people may be put off by the smocking which makes it a close fit - I sized up from 10 to 12 to avoid looking too big on the top!! Pretty elbow-length sleeves and gently ruffled neckline - perfect!”
“This is a gorgeous print, very English summer and very flattering V neck. I was worried about the smocking but it’s a nice update to the Sabine and the smocking fits better than the older Sabines. Nice cut and seems to flatter everyone. It’s pricey for a viscose dress but I think I’ll wear it a lot too.”
“I just loved how Betty looked and I really thought that it was going to be perfect on me but it over promised -- I have a short torso and large bust, Betty did nothing to help either of those anatomical shortcomings, especially with the V neck being too shallow. A zip front would have been way better (for me). I'm a size 10 and Wyse 2, it fitted perfectly but just didnt suit me. I'm gutted as the fabric and pattern are beautiful. Brilliant that it sold out so quickly, it's been returned to go to a better shape than I am.”
