“I loved this dress as soon as I saw it on live but unfortunately when it arrived, I just didn’t love it as much as I thought I would.
The length was extremely unflattering for me, and I just couldn’t work out how I would make it work (shortening would look like a maternity dress) and adding a belt wouldn’t work.”
“Love this dress - material is really nice and it’s incredibly flattering, very comfortable but looks great. So many compliments - very stylish and those sleeves are so pretty and completely different! Size wise if you’re in between I’d go down a size. I’m a 2/3 and 2 was perfect.”
“Super fit hugging the bust but not too empire line. Great wings that stand proud. Lovely material. It’s a stunning dress. I fit 1 or 2 and a 1 was fab. But I don’t suit black and find it odd wearing black on a summer day. Loved the green but didn’t like the pattern. So I’ve returned and hope that a geometric print or a great colour will come next summer.”
“This dress is fantastic, the cut is amazing a size 3 is a definite 12 perhaps a small 14 if you’re not bigger than a C cup in the bust. It just makes me smile, I adore the sleeves they’re dramatic and fabulous a real fashion statement! I’d like this dress in White too, so I’m hoping you do that!! It’s a dress I can see me wearing for years, clothes have to earn a place in my wardrobe and this dress certainly deserves one!”
“Sorry lovely Wyse team, but for me this just didnt work and I'm afraid it didn't meet the description on the lives as flattering all shapes.
The positives were the beautiful crisp poplin and quirky style. Lovely scoop in the back. Cut well.
The negatives were that, despite the v neck, the huge sleeves made me look twice as broad as I am. I am 5ft4, size 10-12, between a 2 and 3 in Wyse clothes. I have a slightly broad shoulder and back with athletic (eg not slim, not big, and with some muscle) arms. The dress looked lovely from bust down, but it definately unbalanced my proportions by adding breadth.
I think this will look best on people with narrow shoulders and arms. The length was ideal for me at 5ft4 so probably not for tall people either, unless not wearing as a midi”
