“I wanted to love these jeans as they looked great on the model but they swamped me and the denim is also quite thick so I think these would look better on taller ladies (I am 5ft 4). Button detail is really nice but overall not good for the more petite.”

I’m 5’11 and they’re a great length on me (thanks!!), but I could see someone shorter needing to have them taken up - IMO it would be worth it. Look great with heels, sandals, flip flops, trainers.
