“I missed out on getting this dress last summer, so was excited to see it coming in again. I had low expectations though, because I had recently ordered the embroidered Drew dress and sent it back as it didn't suit me. But the Drew Woodblock dress is a revelation. It is so flattering, the fabric is gorgeous light weight cotton, allowing the angel sleeves to float. I am normally a size 3 with a 34F cup size, but I sized down to the 2 and it fits perfectly. I thought the colours might not work for me as it has terracotta and mustard in the stitching. But in fact the blue is great and the stitching gives lovely detail without being in your face. It's the kind of dress you could wear to the shops with Birkinstocks and a denim jacket or to a wedding with heels. Covered up enough for cooler days, but light enough for the warmth hopefully to come. I'm already itching to wear it, which is a good sign. Don't hesitate to order one if you are thinking about it. I'll be wearing mine for years to come.”
“I love this dress. The fabric is light and floaty and looks great with flat sandals and a denim jacket. I wasn't sure about the cream lace (I tend to play it safe and would have preferred navy inserts) but I love it anyway!”
“Finally managed to get this dress after all the hype and although I will keep I am actually quite disappointed with the quality for the price.
Fabric is navy bot black as described and feels quite cheap. Not sure about Wyse sizing either as had I gone in my usual size of 2 it would have been way too big. I ordered a 1 as that’s all I could get and it fits fine.
Shape is great but think it’s a cheaply made dress with a high price tag.”
“I managed to order this extremely popular dress when it became available again briefly, because of the online garment measurements I ordered a size 4, I'm between a 3/4 but usually take a 3.
I'm so upset because it's too big, I measured the dress and it's quite a bit bigger than the online measurements, it says 39.3 bust, it was actually 42.5. Sadly I've returned it, asking for an exchange for a 3 but don't expect that there will be one available. It's doubly annoying because when I ordered there were 3's available.
It's a lovely style and perfect for holidays.
I've given it 3 stars because of the sizing issue.
