“Absolutely loved this Mac and had bought both the navy and camel to try at home. The navy fit was lovely (Wyse size 1 and I’m a Wyse 2), sleeves were a tad long but I felt that was fine for outerwear. Beautiful fit and cut and lovely distinguishing frill details!
However, the camel had a lot of excess fabric at the back and bunched up when worn with the belt. Unfortunately returned and waited to see if another cropped up, one did and I bought it again to see if the fit improved, much better than the first one I was sent back because it still had excess fabric bunching unattractively at the back. Felt the cut varied between the colourways of the jacket. For reference I normally take a size 2 Wyse and 5’3” but in this Mac I sized down to a Wyse 1. Keeping my eyes peeled and fingers crossed for a size 0 return now!”
“I have dreamt of being that grown up sophisticated that I should own a classic Mac, but whenever I’ve tried them before they just didn’t warrant the money or make me feel how I know I wanted to … until this one!
Every time I wear this Mac someone asks after it - I feel great when I wear it- whatever I’m doing - initially I saved it for “best” but why stop yourself wearing something beautiful and practical.
The details make the difference , the quality is great, there is a nice weight to the Mac.

“A really well made raincoat with fabulous detail but a strange fit. It sat well on my shoulders but the arms were too long and across the back too broad, with too much material generally which meant it all bunched round the middle. I felt the midi length was also unflattering for me (I’m 5’6”). Returned sadly.”
“This is a bargain in the sale. Lovely spring weight and nice detailing. I think it comes up slightly larger than Wyse’s normal sizing. I’m normally a 1 or 2 and definitely needed a 1 in this.”
“I am a Size 14/ Wyes 4 about 5’ 2”. The sleeves on the Faye trench are way too long if you do not want to have to wear them pushed up. The overall length of the coat is fairly short. I would prefer it below the knee/mid length.”
