“Great replacement product, simple to fit without removing the door skins. Came with new stainless steel bolts as well. Pity they don't offer a painted base version but once on it looks OK with the black door handles and windscreen surround. Highly recommended. Only took about an hour to fit both sides, drivers side wiring harness a bit tight but passenger side had loads of slack cable.”

“Seems a good quality product. Very stiff spring. Plinth has to be sprayed to colour match or you could just leave it grey/black. I asked if I could just have it without the plinth as I still have my original, I was told that because the design is slightly different my old plinth would not be compatible...a small problem solved by a can of primer and some matching auto spray paint.”
“I am restoring a BMW Z3 and discovered X8R when searching online for potential parts. The spindle inside the passenger door mirror mechanism had failed due to corrosion rendering the mirror defective.
