“Excellent , preparation is the key, dont rush it, defiantly need to use a dremal tool. Remove more paint than the foot print of either replacement part. Be careful of the acidtone . I thought it easy to use a small brush and work directly from the bottle and knocked it over. what a panic, suggest in having some wipes to hand, and work on a flat bench, table etc and work inside. Well worth watching the video in depth. Al work investing in a trim removal tool, for less than £5. Found that you need a second pair of hands to assist, especially with trim removal and replacement. The retro fit is excellent, considering Nissan costed the replacement , paint, fitting etc at £269. It took approx 5hrs from start to finish, but left the fusing of the parts for 3 hrs under clamps. Enjoyed undertaking this repair. Make sure you have a box to put in all parts that are removed.”
