“I have had migraine for decades and nothing treats them like Imitrex (sumatriptan). None of the newer meds, not preventatives, not alternative medicine. The only side effect I sometimes have is drowsiness, but I know this and avoid driving or doing anything that might be dangerous while drowsy. And honestly, who wants to drive when their head is exploding with pain? Sumatriptan works within 30 minutes and I’m good to go on with my day.”
