Height Check
If your ceiling height is lower than 3.2m, you will require one of our CX (NE) Extensions - compatible with NST stage poles or X-PERT & X-SPORT (NE) Extensions to replace your B pole (of your stage insert pole) so that it fits under your ceiling.
To work out the best extension you need to take your ceiling height and minus 1600 from this height, then choose the closest size extension is to the remaining height.
E.G. 3000mm height - 1600 = 1400. Which means you can purchase a 1400mm extension or smaller.
2700mm height - 1600 = 1100. You can purchase an 1100mm extension or smaller.
2400mm height - 1600 = 800. You can purchase an 800mm extension or smaller.
There was a rumour circulating that you can only use a CX extension with a stage, and not the NE extensions, but that is incorrect! You can use any either an NE extension or CX extension, just so long as they are the same width.
The NE Extensions range from 125mm-1000mm, so if you require an extension taller than this, we recommend the CX Extensions.
The CX Extensions are dual lined and have height increments of 100mm, so there are more lengths available.
*Please note: You will need at least 15cm gap between your pole and the ceiling in order for it to fit!*
If you're still not sure what height extension you will need, feel free to email our sales team an enquiry at sales@x-pole.com.au :)

Care & Maintainence:
There are some checks which you should do on a regular basis to maintain the longevity of your X-POLE
Visual check: Is the pole level & straight – if no, ascertain if the pole is tight – see Check Tightness of Adjuster Rod below.
If you have a ceiling dome – these are intended primarily to be used in domestic situations where the poles need to be removable. If you are using the poles in a commercial context i.e. a pole studio, you need to have the domes fixed in some way to the ceiling to ensure complete stability. This can be done with a ceiling plate – the ceiling plate is a permanent fixture which will prevent any movement of the Upper Dome when using multi-piece poles over 3350 mm/11 ft.
Check your X-Joints, fully loosen off both sides, then tighten evenly, little by little on each side as per your instructions. It is important to tighten the screws progressively – alternating between the screws, tightening clockwise. This will ensure the pressure is equalised within the pole tubes.
Clean your pole with straight metho or if its silicone, order your silicone pole cleaner here
Spin Static lock - Take out the spin/static screws – check for any rounding. If the screws are rounded out, replace immediately. Remember to fully insert the allen key (keeping it straight) into the screw before adjusting, as not doing so causes the screws to round out.
Check Tightness of Adjuster Rod - Put pole to static. Undo adjuster screws and tighten if necessary. Due to movement, temperature, carpets, subsidence, etc. – you need to ensure that the tightness of your poles are adjusted over time. There may be no movement at all – however it is important to check each pole. It is important that you are able to loosen & tighten the adjuster yourself, without using tools or 'muscle-men'.

I bought the X-Stage Lite (with 40mm steel pole insert) back in May, and have used it on a near daily basis since. If you haven't used one before it's important to note that yes, the pole does move with you which can be a bit disconcerting to begin with, but the movement is not dangerous at all (feels a bit like being a pirate up a mast), and you adjust easily. I'm a bit of a curvier dancer at 80kg and I can perch at the top like a pigeon or throw an invert with zero stability issues. The stage its self is reasonably easy to put together (I only cried once) with no experience, but is a breeze once you know what you're doing- the trick is in the positioning of the arms. The pieces are reasonably heavy, so for transporting the stage I'd advise not trying to hike it up a mountain yourself, and it's going to take two trips or blackmailing a friend into helping to get it even reasonably short distances. The pole inset is in two pieces, which of course it is because transporting a 3m pole would be a nightmare in one piece, but just in case you were wondering how it goes together, they connect at about chest height with a very solid x-connector so they're not coming apart without intention. You notice this a bit when positioning your hands, but it doesn't cause an issue when using it, and it doesn't catch on your thighs no matter how uncontrolled the slide down you're doing is. Because the base is metal plates with a hollow space underneath you do need to be a bit aware that a fall is a bit shocking as it comes with dramatic sound effects (like a drum of shame) as well as the insult on injury of cold metal on exposed flesh, so if that's not for you I'd recommend getting a crash mat or just not falling. All in all I'm super pleased with my X-Stage, it's a really flexible option especially if you have stupidly rafted ceilings like mine, and it's also proven really useful in home maintenance- you just move the stage under the light you could never reach with a ladder and climb yourself up to change the bulbs, it's a multi-purpose piece of equipment. I was also really impressed with the sales service I received- I had a few questions prior to purchase and they were answered really quickly, and the team kept in contact with me throughout the process, even trouble shooting potential issues before they happened- it felt like they were really thinking of my experience even after sale and proactively making sure I had everything I needed.

I'm a beginner, I don't have time to go to a pole dance studio. Both the pole and support I bought from you were a great solution! With your instructions it was pretty easy to install it, I loved it! I train with YouTube tutorials and progress every day. Thanks a lot for this opportunity.

Wonderful to have confidence in my freestanding pole with xstage lite base. Having had previously a xpole that connects to the ceiling I was a bit nervous about the stability but all that has changed now I’ve been practicing on it foe 2 weeks and I love it! It suits my new home environment perfectly. Thank you

I am very much in love with my Lite stage, it feels safe, sturdy and the black finish of the stage. I am a bit sad that I cant really wear heels but other than that I could not be happier!
