“The Halograph Chrono is a great looking dress watch! I also was surprised at how nice and comfortable the leather band is, as I struggle to find bands that will fit my big wrist.”
“Juxtaposed to my negative review of the Atlasphere GMT I received as a mystery quartz, I really like this Halograph. The 44mm diameter is more tolerable, although the case still feels bulbous with it's domed sapphire and 13mm height. Again, preferable dimensions would be closer to 40-42x10mm. I think it's probably achievable with the quartz movement.
The unique halos which highlight the time is obviously what attracted me to this watch. It's like a badass steampunk Ouija board for the wrist. All the numerals and hands are lumed on this model, but it's not very strong. Would be awesome if it were lumed a bit better. The band is nice and doesn't crease like the black leather on my Atlasphere. The main complaint I have against this piece is that the chrono dials are essentially useless. A chronograph is for measuring precise time, and the chrono dials don't even have markers.
If Xeric re-released this watch with a more reasonable case size and better lume I would purchase it a second time.”
“Watch looks fantastic, but of poor quality. The soon I open the box, I saw the rings inside the dial detached and the hands are moving as I move the watch. I expected a more iconic product, but its nowhere near it. The strap that came with the watch was also of poor quality. Never thought of replacing it. just got my refund.
Thank you.”
“When I purchased this watch online, I struggled as most do with doubt. Will the watch be as good as it claims to be? Sturdy and strong? Firm handles? Above all usable?
Now I sleep with my watch on. Needless to say, my doubt is a thing of the past. My chrono sapphire is the work of genius, class and efficiency. I was even given a free wrist strap of my choice and the watch has this rare innovative mechanism that makes it super easy to change the straps by simply pushing back a tiny lever. A watch for all occasions; dinner with the Queen, hangout with friends, doing the dishes, eating while playing tennis, avoiding mom’s calls, skydiving without a parachute, hanging from an airplane, climbing the Burj Khalifa (I know what you’re thinking. Yes he had a Xeric on the whole time) etc.
A few days ago, my brother (that idiot) asked to fit my watch on and dropped it before he could even properly secure it on his wrist. The watch fell right on the screen and my heart fell with it. But, I picked it up and it didn’t even have so much as a scratch.
So guess what? I loved my watch more and my brother less.
Xeric thank you. I thought my love for Jon Snow (and Tyrion Lannister) was unbeatable till you came along.
Winter has already come, and it’s sitting on my wrist.”
