“The Xeric Halograph III in Oxford Blue has exceeded my expectations. After a lot of consideration regarding the different styles of Xeric watches, I finally landed on the new Halograph III Automatic. That started the next round of considerations: what color to get. There were many colors I was interested in and it was a hard decision, but ultimately I decided on the "Oxford Blue" which is a stainless case, blue strap, and deep red face. I am very happy now that I have seen the watch in person, it looks even better than I expected! I can't speak to the other colors as I have not seen them in person, but I am in love with this one. I have received so many comments from people regarding the watch and I think the color is what catches their attention initially.
From a functional standpoint, the face is unique in how it tells time, but that is what I liked about it when I decided to purchase. It is definitely a small learning curve when you first start wearing it, but you pick up on it quickly and telling time with the Halograh III is [almost] as easy as a traditional watch. The Sieko [Japanese] automatic movement is not as accurate as Swiss automatic movements and for the MSRP price I would expect this watch to be a little better, but I think it is accurate enough and the other great qualities of the watch make up for any shortcomings there.
Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase and I currently wear the watch just as often as I wear my other Oris swiss watch. I would recommend this color combo, it looks so great in person!”
