“Had it for a month now and it is really great. First thing you'll notice is thr extreme softness of the strip - the leather is unlike any I had before. The watch itself isn't as big as it seemd in the photos, it's just about right. Hours and minutes are easily read, and the roman numerals on the inner moonphase circle are a nice touch. The luminescence could last a bit longer. The moonphase part is pretty cool, a conversation starter if not anything else. The date is the only thing I had problems with - visibility is more or less ok, but it keeps switching the date in the middle of the day. It's definitely not a deal breaker. :) I wholeheartedly recommend this piece of artwork to any watch lover - truly one of a kind.”
“Conceptually I really appreciated the Trappist, and while some elements are well made, some were either ignored or missed the mark. The date window in particular is nearly impossible to read without a direct light shining overhead. Both moons on the Moonphase complication are also visible due to the thin film covering them. The constellation dial is interesting but in conjunction with the grated porthole case the watch is frustrating to read and inexact.”
