“This is very old tech, purchased to replace an identical rain sensor on a 24-year-old irrigaton system I am upgrading which jammed when the fragile shaft which sticks up got broken off. Given the sophistcation of the new Hydrawise controllers I would rather have a sensor which would measure/click/dump/reset in .1" rainfall increments to record actual amounts at sensor (like a personal weather station) used by the Hydrawise controller to adjust watering schedules. This one just cancels all watering until it dries out again.”
