“I love my swim turban. I was able to fit all of my braid extensions into it but most importantly, it kept my braids dry! I tried it 2 ways- both twisting the end before pulling it over my head, and not twisting the end before pulling it over my head. Braids remained dry both ways!”
“I wish I could leave a raving review. I can't. I watched the tutorial three times and placed the turban appropriately. I had my locs up in a ponytail. I used the cap twice for my advanced swimming classes and all my hair got wet. It wasn't completely saturated but the nape (dripping), edges and at least half of my head was wet. My crown was damp.
My friends were waiting for me to give them feedback, but I haven't said anything. I won't As a fellow, small Black Woman owned business, I fully understand the power of word of mouth and a review. This review is to simply make YGN aware.
I'm giving it 2-stars because I can say that the turban looks a lot more becoming than my normal cap.
To get my money's worth, I may try to wear it as a second layer cap, providing it being comfortable to do so. I hope others have had much more positive experiences with the swim turban.”
