“I was under the impression that the inside was of a soft fabric so that it does not pull your hair, however I found it difficult to place as it was pulling my hair… but will keep trying… on another issue, I was promised a refund that I never received … disappointing…”
“The cap does what it claims. I thought I selected 2 different colors but received the same green for 2 caps. There are 4 reasons I gave a 4 instead of a 5
1. there is no clear direction on how the fabric should be folded on the perimeter of the scalp in reference to cap underneath. If you try to wear it like traditional swim cap the fabric buckles.
2. Shipping took entirely too long between when a tracking # was provided and actual shipping date
3. You have to place your hair in a pretty neat/tight bun to get the cap on. There should be more room in the body of the cape for people who have long Locs I.e. bigger ponytail.
4. After actually getting the cap in my hand I could’ve saved a few bucks by ordering an oversized swim cap. However you’re paying for the extra style you get on top of the cap. The price should still be lower. But I love supporting black business so I took the hit.”
“It's cute and stylish. Honey, that cap squeezed my head so hard my very thoughts we're trapped inside. I have non processed hair but I do wear a silk press. On my first attempt, the cap itself made me sweat out my press. I tried using my silk Bonnet underneath but still sweated profusely. So since I have only silk bonnets and scarves I decided to try cotton. All I had was underwear. Don't judge me, I tried it and it was a winner. My hair was completely dry after being completely submerged. It was tight but right! Lol. Once I was playing around in the pool with my toddler I didn't even notice the tightness. I'm very pleased with my purchase.”
