“Pretty sad and disappointed in this as I had high hopes that I could finally swim with my 3c curly hair. I followed the exact instructions on how to put it on. Made sure the seal was flat, covered my whole hairline, secured it over my ears, and did the x with another loop to hold down more. My hair was soaked :( I tried reapplying it twice. When I took it off, water poured out. Not to mention it’s painfully tight and I couldn’t keep it on without a headache. My braids were fairly small too, I’m not sure how someone with box braids could fit them in there. Also shipping took nearly a month and I paid for 2 day shipping. I understand that there has been an influx of orders which is great! But I don’t think the 2 day shipping should be available anymore as people spend more on it to get it sooner. I also never got an email for tracking. Very sad!!”
“I have a short hair cut and perhaps that's why the turban continued to slide up past my ears during my swim sessions. Although it kept the crown of my head dry, from my edges to about 1/2 inch upwards my head continually got wet each time I swam.
Overall I think it's a good product, but may not be best for very short natural hairstyles.”
“I recently received my swim turban. I tried it on but haven’t had an opportunity to try it out yet. However, it looks and feels great and I can’t wait to use it. Love the color and style.”
“I've never used a swim cap/turban before. I received mine last week and have used it twice this week. I love the color. Instructions on what to do with the extra fabric would be nice and my hair still gets wet on the edges even though it's super tight on my head. Shipping took forever, so be patient.”
“It’s okay but it’s not as comfortable to wear on the head especially for women of color who have thicker hair. My braids also make it harder to put on.”
