“I really like the body wash. Unfortunately, the refill package isn't completely user-friendly and some of the product usually ends up spilling out while refilling.”
Hey hey Carol!
So happy to hear that you are loving the Bodywash, super bummed that you are having issues refilling!
So we have a little refilling vid here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FK8w82MgXbE
But we definitely have some tips.
First of all, you can check whether the Refill is the same size or double the size of the Forever Bottle (or comparative to the bottle of your choice at home if you aren't using out bottles). This will help to ensure you aren't overfilling. Make a mental note of where looks to be half of the refill pouch.
Some people like to set up a lil make shift refill station to be able to use two hands on the refill pouch. For example, propping the Forever Bottle against a wall with something on the other side, towel, container etc.
With thicker viscosity products & bigger pouches (Handwash, Bodywash, etc.), two hands is key! And generally starting at the base of the pouch is the way to go.
As you empty from the base of the pouch, roll down the pouch as it empties, kind of like a sleeping bag or burrito π― Rolling down helps push the product out, taking the pressure off your hands. So no squeezing is required ππΎ
If you are fully emptying a pouch, roll as above all the way to the spout tightly, so the product has no where to go but out, not back up the pouch!
Be sure to only fill till about the Zero Co logo! That way, fixtures (pumps and sprays) have room to breathe aka perform their best.
Do know/note that we put an extra 15mls (ish) into each pouch to help with spills and residue that may not be able to get out. If you can leave the pouch hanging upside down for a bit too to get gravity to do its thing to, then that is great! We would appreciate it though if you could get as much of the liquid out as possible! It makes it much easier for our cleaning process and best value for your money too! π
Then squeeze all the air out (rolling can help here too), and please, put the cap back on! It is super important for when the pouches travel their way back to us! So they don't get dirtier on the outside or (worse) re-packed by Aus Post in a single use plastic bag due to the envelope being damaged!
Lastly, feel free to give the pouch a lil wipe over if you believe it needs it and store flat! Voila!
We sure do hope this helps! Please let us know if you have further Qs, we are happy to assist!
Thanks a bunch for being on this journey with us,
Zero Co
“This is great value for what it is and the volume. I have incredibly sensitive skin and I react to most florals/ fruit scents on skin contact. Itβs a really good price for an all natural body wash when you consider the cost of other all natural brands. Smells pretty good - I think I have the sandalwood one, and it feels pretty good on the skin.”
