We hear you on the pumps as preferred option! We've spent months and months and months testing and trialing a whole bunch of different pump options that would be able to last "forever". The reality is that because pumps have moving parts they will always eventually break down and stop working. 👎🏼
The current "disc cap" option that we have on our Dishwashing Liquid should in theory be able to last "forever" because it doesn't have any springs or moving mechanisms which means it's a much better option for the planet 🌏
We’ve now learnt that designing a forever pump top is a very unique industrial design challenge (since 99.99% of all pump tops on the planet get used with one single-use bottle and then thrown away). And that this is actually an Industry-wide issue that we are trying to (and will) tackle! 👊🏼
We put lots of time and effort into thinking about the longer-term lifecycle and post-life lifecycle of our products and try to make the best decision for the planet with each of our products. Hope that helps explain why we don't currently offer a pump for some of our products and for more products going forward.
