“I really debated whether or not to put this in a review because I believe in the need for zero waste products such as this one and would not want to discourage others from trying it out. Also, I recognise that scent preferences are very individual. That being said, I personally found that the detergent smelled beautiful going into the wash, but produced a horrible after-scent. This was especially bad on T-shirts with any sort of decal. And it got worse after being put away in a drawer for a couple of days. And before anyone suggests it, I thought it might be my washing machine at first, so I ran a cleaning cycle and scrubbed out the door sealants and the dispenser; everything I could clean, I did, and unfortunately, it made no difference. I even ran an extra rinse cycle to make sure it was washing all the detergent off the clothes, and found that a) it didn't make a difference, and b) I was just wasting water, when the whole point is to be more earth-friendly. So, sadly, this product just didn't work out for me. I wish it had. Again, it might just be a personal aversion that others wouldn't mind or notice. I hope others will still give it a try, I just felt I needed to share my own experience. I still gave two stars because I did feel that clothes were clean. And I am still trying out the household cleaners and dishwashing products, which I have high hopes for since odor shouldn't be an issue there.”
