Where the minimum wage is 1,720 RMB per month.We pay our workers, on a low-end average of around 11 RMB a hour. Which ends up being above the minimum wage at 1,800 RMB per month. The workers work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. They are off on all holidays.The factory does not use any single-use plastic in the production process of the compostable bags. But there is water based ink used when printing the film. The waste ink water goes to processing and we recycle and reuse whatever ink we can recover. Then if there is no more ink we can recover, the waste water gets treated and then reused in the next round of printing.
