I had a terrible experience with DHL. My package was scheduled for delivery on November 7, and as someone who works from home with cameras covering my property, I was ready to receive it. However, the delivery never happened. Instead, I received an email and a text saying that no one was home, which was simply not true. I tried contacting customer service but found they were already closed (I live in California, so perhaps they run on Eastern Time). I then rescheduled delivery for the next day between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm. This time, both my husband and I were home. I was actively tracking the driver on the map, and at one point, the message said they were delayed, with “22 stops to go.” At 6:09 pm, I received another email and text saying the driver attempted delivery but that no one was home. My husband and I were both stunned, as neither of us saw any sign of the driver. My guess is that the driver isn’t making an effort, despite knowing that many people today have cameras monitoring their property. This has been my first experience with DHL, and it’s also the worst. I hope it will be my last. As of now, I am still waiting for my package!
