“I sent my nephew some small money via DHL, in the end they opened my package, stole my money and absolutely do not want to do anything about it because I should have reported that I was sending money. When I asked what they planned to do about their employee opening my shipment, they told me that they could not do anything about it. I definitely do not recommend DHL.”
“I was on 2.5 weeks leave when DHL sent the invoice. After I returned, I took a couple of days to clear my inbox and finally got to the DHL billing email, I submitted for processing. Then I received another email from DHL SECURE CREDIT CARD TEAM, saying that our account is under suspension. I replied to this email apologizing for the delay and explained that I just returned from my leave and had submitted the invoice and that the payment would be processed on Friday. Our payment run is on every Friday. To that, this DHL SECURE CREDIT CARD TEAM replied -
"As a one-time exception, we will extend the deadline until Friday, 21st February 2025.
If payment is not received by then, we will place the account on credit stop."
Does this employee think he/she is a big shot? Fancy threatening us with these statements over a bill of $54? Putting our account on suspension and on credit stop? Does DHL think that they are the only international shipping company in Singapore? We are not owing them millions for months, for goodness sake.
I am not impressed with DHL's attitude on this.”

“I sent my parcel from Sydney to Nashik, India. While it was mentioned in the document that it was all used and personal stuff due to moving to home country permanently, they did not convey it well to the customs so they asked me to pay custom duties of around 23535 rs. I paid it straight away. then after two days i got a call from DHL local office asking how are you paying your 55000rs fees ??? i was in a big shock, and started asking them to give me all the receipts or invoices they received from customs. Spending a lot of time chasing them but no proper response from them. Still waiting for the parcel. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DHL AT ALL.”

“I have waited all day for the delivery when I got text saying that the driver tried to deliver but no one was home. I waited until I got the text. I called DHL and they claimed it was attempted at 3pm .I was watching for the delivery truck and no tracking company tried to deliver anything

“Status said "Deliver Feb 13" then Feb 10 - Status says Returned. WTF? They didn't even try to deliver because it was returned on the 10th....its not even the 13th yet! They really suck, and there is no way to actually get Live Customer Support! Good luck getting anything shipped by DHL..no delivery I have ever had has been smooth. Thank heavens not may people use it.
NOT to mention I actually paid to have the product sent FedEx, but that is on the merchant. They should know better than to use DHL”
“A packet was sent over dhl 14 November from Australia, never arrived because in Madrid they didn't know that my city exists in Gran Canaria. It was resent to Australie and 2 January posted again. It arrived 27 January in the depot, and they should deliver it after a phone call when they arrive at my complex, what they never did. I had to take my packet up in the depot, what for me is 120 km driving. Next time I will let you do 140 steps to go to my door for delivery. Roger Vandezande”
