Their shipping system appears to be disorganized. A parcel I received from Lebanon was repeatedly rerouted across the United States—from the East Coast to the West Coast, and even to the South—despite the correct address being clearly provided

Ugh, seriously frustrating! 😡 Paid $30 for express shipping to get my package on the 10th or 11th, and it's past that date with no delivery. Not only did I miss an important occasion because I was counting on this, but I haven't even been refunded the shipping fee yet. Don't trust their express guarantee—it's a total joke! Just want my package and my $30 back.

DHL Express – a disgrace that failed a children’s charity DHL Express has failed me for the third time, and this one is unforgivable. A photographic print (tracking 9027600750) was due for next-day delivery for a children’s charity auction. It reached Liverpool by 6am—then DHL inexplicably sent it 150 miles the wrong way to Bristol. The auction is now over, the charity lost an item, and my reputation as a donor was damaged. This isn’t a one-off. DHL has previously lost perishable goods and delivered days late. Their “Express” service is nothing but a marketing scam—slow, unreliable, and careless.

I was in when the driver called and took all of 10 seconds to open the door.In that time he'd put a card through the letterbox and now I have to go and collect!!

Just now….. 10-03-25 1730 tailgated by DHL van from Ashfield, Ma, through Conway, Ma and part of Deerfield, Ma. 40 mph zones, van was approx 6’ off my bumper. Van continued south on rt 5 in Deerfield, Ma. Extremely upsetting and scary.

ZERO stars - NO attempt Every time an order is supposed to arrive using UniUni, GoFo or DHL, it always says attempt to deliver failed, verify address, , check phone, check around, check with neighbors, etc. Address & phone are always correct, cameras (neighborhood, neighbors & ours) show NO attempt even made! I schedule another "attempt". Then it says that it was delivered and we go through the same! I call again. Suddenly we get the package a few days later with a photo from when it was delivered (earlier)! It's the same day it was actually delivered! Same goes for UniUni & DHL! I seriously think they hope alot of people won't go to the trouble and never get their item or $ back.

I am leaving 1 star because DHL turned what should have been a simple signature-required delivery into the worst customer experience I ever had. My parcel was marked as “delivered” on 19 September, but no signature was taken and the only “proof” was a blurry photo of the label. The parcel was not in my possession. DHL’s own Bristol depot later confirmed it had been left in the wrong building. What followed was almost 2 weeks of chasing DHL daily, broken promises of updates, contradictory information from different advisers, and even being told the investigation was closed and a claim would not be possible. Meanwhile, I was forced to begin replacing the certified documents inside at my own expense. Then, on 26 September, the parcel suddenly appeared in my mailbox with no notice, no delivery attempt, and still no signature. DHL cannot explain how it got there. Yet DHL told the sender that the shipment was “delivered correctly” and refused compensation — a response that is beyond unacceptable. At every turn DHL has managed to make this situation worse: misdelivery, failure to obtain the required signature, inadequate proof of delivery, inaccurate information, poor communication, and zero accountability. This is exactly the type of problem I paid extra to avoid by choosing DHL. Instead, DHL created it. This has undoubtedly been the worst customer service experience I ever had.

my parcel was supposed to be delivered to my house on 5th of September. it's the 26th of September now, every day the DHL keep apologising but as it seems they are not doing much. At this point, I haven't received neither my parcel or the refund. Very disappointing, as the photo proof of the delivery shows my parcel inside someone else's house.

Worst delivery company I used, their couriers never ring the doorbell and they say that I’m not home to receive my package when I spend the whole day at home specifically for this purpose. And then I have to wait an extra day or even more for them to deliver the package to a pick up location.

Ordered a drone from South Korea. The drone came in and was being held at their Cincinnati warehouse. they requested my information which was uploaded per their instructions. After 2 days i called and they checked and was like oh you did do it. Then i received the bill. They charged my $2,107 for a drone worth only $3,400. When i called to inquire the customer service agent stated that it looked like i was charged 4x for the item and would have dispute it online. I follow the directions and called the dispute department who stated it will take time and that the package would probably be sent back before the process was finished even though its their fault. would not recommend these clowns and would question all their charges due to their dishonesty.

When did Terrible become the new normal? I was emailed that this delivery would be delivered between 14.40 to 15.40. It came at 13.16 and just left on my doorstep. I was out at the time, as I had rearranged my day so I could be in for the delivery slot. The tracking says signed by me. It was signed by the driver, not me. Please do not use my identity falsely. It's a £1,100 product. Your service is disgusting.

Horrible, Terrible delivery service and Awful and Rude customer service! The package was shipped from US to Spain, sat in a distribution center in Madrid for almost a month! DHL "supposedly" was contacting the receiver for some additional info. When asked to confirm the contacts they were using, Customer Service Manager, Kerry Arias, REFUSED, probably because they used wrong email and phone number. Customer service reps, Carlos and Laaqsha repeatedly cut off the customer, telling me to "be quiet" and "calm down". Absolutely no resolution or assistance was obtained from escalation of the claim, same rude and indifferent answers. I was given a phone number for DHL in Spain, which was a non-working number. When I called back to get a different number, I was told by Kerry Arias (manager) to "just Google it". Outrageously bad, and expensive, 160$, for a small package, for delivery that did not happen, and was delayed by a month. For context, I am shipping a PAIR OF CHILD'S GLASSES TO MY SON!! Who needs them to see. I will definitely be looking for a refund of all the money I paid this insanely bad company!

They said they had delivered my parcel, don't know where wasn't mine, the refused to answer the phone, no photo of the delivery so I can only assume they are lying. Why companies use this courier as they are hopeless and not professional.

This company is comprised of a bunch of incompetent, inefficient and careless individuals. Do not use them to ship your items. They will drop the ball on you at some stage of the process.

We ordered an internet kit through Starlink who were using DHL as their delivery company. The kit was delivered to the wrong address and when trying to contact them they just wouldn’t respond. As a result we are we have not received our parcel which was worth quite a bit of money. This isn’t the only terrible experience we’ve had with DHL. Absolutely atrocious company who don’t care at all about their customers I would highly encourage using another company.

If I could give DHL zero stars, I would. What should have been a straightforward shipment turned into a three-day ordeal where DHL repeatedly failed to pick up my package. Three days. No explanation, no accountability—just endless excuses. When I tried to get answers, customer service was nothing short of appalling. They refused to properly engage with me until I made it absolutely clear I was prepared to escalate and make noise about their incompetence. That is not “service”—that is stonewalling. Hours of my time were wasted chasing down answers because DHL’s internal systems failed. That’s not my fault, but somehow I was left paying the price—through lost time, missed deadlines, and sheer frustration. DHL markets itself as a global logistics leader, but in reality, they can’t even manage the basics: picking up a package when promised, communicating transparently, and treating customers with respect. Their failure cost me time and trust, and I will avoid using them again at all costs. To anyone considering DHL: think twice. If reliability and professionalism matter to you, look elsewhere.
