I placed order following extensive cancer surgery. Paid for uplift of old bed and agreed delivery date. Because of surgery I had to ask someone to dismantle my old bed for me. Five minutes before delivery slot I receive a text telling me they wouldn’t be delivering. I phoned both Mattressman and the distribution company and explained that this would leave me with no bed at all.
Neither could be less interested. Both blaming each other for the failure to deliver. I was promised and received emails and text messages assuring me that the delivery would be made the following day.
At 6.30am, after having to sleep in the floor,
I receive a text advising that they will be delivering the base only!!!
Offices both closed until 8am/9am so unable to contact.
I email to let them know I will not accept a partial delivery and reminding them of their promises the previous day.
Eventually get through on phone at 8am. No help whatsoever. No explanation and no apologies. They seemed very keen that I accept a refund and cancel the order.
I now have to ask someone for help to rebuild my old bed and start the process of trying to replace it again. Not the easiest following surgery and undergoing cancer treatment. This company is dreadful. Avoid at all costs. They take your money, fail to deliver the order and have zero compassion or customer service skills.
