We are currently trying to appeal our “parking fine” from Australia. We parked in the NCP at Gloucester. After driving around the car park for awhile we finally got a park. I went over to the ticket machine which was broken. I went to the other machine which had a big queue. Everyone in line was struggling with the machine and took ages to get a ticket. As I got closer in the queue I realised that you needed your registration number- as we had a hire car I didn’t know it. I went back to my husband who was waiting at the car. We decided to leave we didn’t want to go back to the end of the queue again. We had been there for 15 minutes. When we returned home we noticed the car hire company had debited our credit card( £60 for fine and £40 care rental admin fee)! We have sent multiple emails to NCP and it’s still “under review”, the online chat never works and when we tried to call we were put on hold forever and it was going to cost a fortune from Australia. So if you read this NCP, we would appreciate a favourable response.
