Used the RAC to get Get an instant Vehicle History Check and it told me everything, including the history and value was ok. A short time after buying the car it was brought to my attention that it had been a taxi. My car's value plummeted by £6000. Raised it with the RAC and they did not respond to my repeat queries for nearly a month and then said that it has a BVRLA history and that Taxi's are classed as a lease car and that is the BVRLA marker.
