Following a breakdown, we were left stranded in a lay-by for over six hours waiting for a recovery vehicle, with an autistic child suffering a meltdown. We were beside a busy road with no footpath (North Devon Link Road), unable to leave the vehicle and left in an extremely dangerous situation with the constant threat of my son running into the road in the midst of his meltdown. RAC were appalling.
