The RAC mechanic was excellent, but it means nothing when the relay service mess up the taxi booking, leaving me stranded with two small children 400 miles from home, are rude, refuse to pay for onward travel because 'it's a long way' when the service I signed up for stated UK-wide cover, and then keep my vehicle in storage for three days (so far), again because 'it's a long way'. Their customer service are not allowed to tell me anything, apparently, nor are they allowed to give a geographical location for my camper van nor which subcontractor it is in storage with (yes - 'storage'. I signed up for relay, not storage)!. They will not give out any other numbers and instead just say 'customer solutions will call you'. Which they never do.
Just to be clear, this is MY CAMPER VAN which THEY HAVE but won't tell me where or when I'll get it back. It has all of my bank cards and most of my family's clothes plus fresh food rotting on board.
This must be close to criminal - DO NOT USE THE RAC.
