Absolutely terrible experience. I will NEVER purchase through StubHub again. I purchased tickets for the State marching band contest in Texas in October. When I got to the event, I tried pulling up the tickets and I kept getting an error message saying “oops, something went wrong.” Even the ticket person was trying to help me figure out how to pull up the tickets. We had 20 minutes until the one single band that we came to watch perform so I did not have time to keep trying to work it out as we had already spent nearly 30 minutes at the ticket booth holding up a line trying to get the tickets to pull up. I ended up having to buy two more tickets at the gate because I couldn’t access my tickets through stub hub/ticketmaster. I called to request a refund because I didn’t use the tickets and the lady said sorry you should have called and we could’ve helped you work it out. I explained that I did not have time and that we almost missed the single performance that we came to see Five hours away. She did not care and was not helpful. So I then went and disputed it with my bank, and now I just got a message from my bank saying that StubHub verified that the transaction was valid so they are rescinding my credit for the tickets. I even showed my bank where I bought two tickets on the day of the event because I couldn’t access the others. So frustrating. Not to mention they charged me twice and even the original charge was nearly 50% more than what I paid at the gate. Lesson learned.
