We had a two box delivery of a cabin bed. One parcel arrived on time the other two days later, no explanation was ever given.
One of the boxes was clearly labelled "2 man delivery only" as it was so heavy. One man delivered it and I felt very sorry for him as he struggled and I am not in a position to help.
When the 2nd box arrived the driver carried it up my driveway without checking if anyone was home, it was a heavy box and a very hot day. The box had clearly been dropped as it was held together with masking tape and the contents rattled (hence why he carried it up the driveway so I wouldn't hear the rattling) and the parts were damaged so we couldn't make the bed up. Xdp refused to admit they had damaged the box. We claimed our money back through our credit card company.
We purchased the same bed from a different bed company and Xdp delivered it, again only a single man came even though the bed company were under the impression it would be a two man delivery. This time only one box was slightly damaged & contents were ok.
This company is clearly lying to the clients that hire them to do large deliveries and putting profit before the health of their staff. If something goes wrong they will deny any responsibility. Avoid!
