O had ordered a major piece of flat pack furniture from my supplier who arranged ro overnight delivery. This consignment consisted of four large boxes of flat pack equipment. On Thursday at 1pm I received thee large boxes. Where is the 4th box? My supplier placed all four boxes on the collection van. He rang. I rang and we were both assured that it would be with me on the next day. This is now the next day and after calling them now, I am told that the box is still in Batley and that someone didn't put al four boxes on the van. Why didn't they do this on Friday then for delivery today? No answer can be given as they don't have the data 'on screen' to explain why. I am now told that this may not be delivered till Monday.
Utterly inconceivable that this can happen. How can four large and prominent boxes be split and then, if it is 'human error' that they cannot get the fourth box on the van he next day? No answer gain. All I get is that I is still in Batley.
