I wish I could do 0 stars! I purchased a furniture set from eBay of 5 items, 2 items came on a wednesday and 1 item came on the following Friday. I was missing the 2 (largest) items. They still haven't been delivered even now a week later! This company is claiming they have been delivered. They claim i've signed for them although I did not. I did not sign for anything that mentioned 'Stockwell double bed' or 'Stockwell triple wardrobe'. What I signed for was written as a very generic: '3 items'. my double wardrobe did arrive on time and it came in 3 boxes. the delivery driver told me that the '3 items' noted on the delivery note means 3 boxes as that is how they scan them at the depot and that he had nothing left on the van for me and that they will 'probably turn up tomorrow or perhaps another day next week'. They also advised if I had an issue about missing items then I should contact the furniture company. Which i absolutely did straight away but, without much help. they want to open a formal investigation with XDP that will take 90 days which I will not be willing to accept. I have no bed and no large wardrobe and these 2 items alone cost me over £600! unacceptable customer service! I still don't know where my items are. Whats worse is that they are blaming me for not writing on the delivery note that I was missing 2 items!! Why on earth would I write what's missing on a delivery note when the delivery driver standing in front of me has explained to me that I have received all the 3 items for that day (the 3 boxes)! How the hell am I supposed to know what's in his van?! I'm sorry but I have to accept what the 'experts' are telling me. If I was missing items surely the driver should write it on his delivery note on my behalf as a query? So rude, so unhelpful and I'm currently sleeping on the floor!... Waiting for a resolution on this.
