I ordered a fridge from Adexa which arrived in good time.
I allowed it to settle for 24 hours before switching on. The temperature gauge said it was at 2 degrees so I put my food inside for a lunch job the following day. When I returned to work the following morning everything was frozen solid. I placed an external thermometer inside to check and set the gauge to its maximum of 10 degrees. So now set to 10 the screen showed it was 4 degrees but actually running at minus 10.
I have contacted Adexa asking to return the defective piece of equipment only to find out they expect me to pay in excess off £500 for me to send a broken piece of equipment back to them.
This company should not be trading and I’m going to do everything I can to make that happen.
